Roma fans cleared to travel to Como without restrictions

Dan Friedkin attended the EFC assembly in Copenhagen today and spoke about Roma's current moment. The new stadium remains central to Roma's strategy. The financial plan projects net revenues of approximately 154 million euros in the first year of operation, driven primarily by hospitality and ticket sales. Roma supporters will be able to travel to Como for the Serie A match on Sunday 11 October at 12:30 at Stadio Sinigaglia after months of away-end restrictions. The visiting section will be open to giallorossi fans from any region, with only an AS Roma Fidelity Card required for entry. The decision marks a significant easing of travel limitations that have affected Roma's away support in recent months. Ticket sales for the away section begin on Friday 2 October at 12:00 and close at 19:00 on 10 October, or earlier if allocation runs out. Como have set the price at €25 per ticket, inclusive of booking fees and service charges. The reopening comes at an important moment in the season, as Gian Piero Gasperini's squad resumes league action and will once again have a fully giallorosso-coloured away section in attendance—a return to normality after the restrictions that have characterised several away fixtures over recent months.

Roma supporters have been cleared to attend away matches after a ban lasting nearly nine months. The visiting section will be open for the first time at Como on Sunday, 11 October at the Sinigaglia stadium, ending a lengthy period of restrictions on travelling fans. The ban began on 18 January following clashes on the motorway between Roma supporters and Fiorentina fans after Roma's 2–0 away win at Torino. The restrictions were initially set to run until the end of the 2025–26 season but were extended through the first two away fixtures of the current campaign—at Lecce on 31 August and at Torino on 14 September. The lifting of the ban allows Roma fans to return to support Gasperini's squad away from the Olimpico under normal conditions, with no constraints affecting access to the away section. The Como fixture will mark the first opportunity for Roma's travelling support to resume their presence at external matches since January. Under the previous restrictions, the away section operated with limitations at each successive fixture, creating months of absence for fans who had followed the club throughout the 2025–26 season and into the early stages of the current campaign.
