Dybala's family reveals Roma is first choice, though father dreams of Boca move
Paulo Dybala's future remains uncertain with his contract expiring on June 30, and it is unclear whether AS Roma will offer him a renewal. Dybala's mother-in-law, Catherine Fulop, spoke publicly about the forward's options, revealing the competing interests within his family. She stated: "He loves Roma, he loves the team and I think Roma loves him very much. This would be his first option." However, Fulop also disclosed that Dybala harbours a personal dream to honour his father's wish to see him play for Boca Juniors: "He has a dream to fulfil for his father, which is to play at Boca. Especially for his father, who instilled it in him." Dybala recently affirmed his commitment to defending Roma's colours in the present moment, though the possibility of joining former teammate Leandro Paredes at Boca does not appear to displease either the player or his wife, Oriana. Fulop concluded by noting that she would be happy if the family relocated to Buenos Aires, though her husband remains a River Plate supporter. The situation highlights the tension between Dybala's current professional home and his family's emotional ties to Argentine football, with Roma's plans for contract renewal remaining unresolved as the expiration date approaches.
