Paulo Dybala

Forward#21· Argentine

There are very few players in world football who can create something from nothing the way Paulo Dybala can. Born in Laguna Larga, Córdoba in 1993, he turned professional at Instituto before Palermo brought him to Italy, and it was at Juventus — where he spent seven seasons and won five Serie A titles — that he became a true star. His goal celebrations, his trademark mask gesture, his long-range strikes: all of it made him one of Serie A's most iconic figures.

Dybala signed for Roma in 2022 and quickly became the soul of the team. He is described by coaches and opponents alike as an "elegant" player — deceptive in his ease, devastating in his execution. He operates primarily as a forward or attacking midfielder, drifting into pockets of space and creating chances that others simply don't see. His dribbling in tight areas is exceptional, and his ability on set pieces — both taking and finishing — adds another dimension.

In 2022 he became a World Cup winner with Argentina, finishing as a substitute in the final against France and converting his penalty in the shootout. For Roma supporters, he is not just a brilliant footballer but a genuine love story. He could have gone elsewhere. He stayed.
