Lorenzo Pellegrini has agreed a contract extension with Roma, with an annual renewal expected to be signed in the coming days. Separately, Antonio Nusa has forcefully dismissed market speculation linking him elsewhere, reaffirming his commitment to RB Leipzig: "I never asked to leave Leipzig. Roma's bid to sign Antonio Nusa shows no signs of progress. According to Fabrizio Romano, no fresh developments have emerged from Nusa's camp regarding a move to Roma, and Leipzig have no incentive to sell a key player from their squad. The German club recently received €140 million from Real Madrid for Diomandé and, with their return to the Champions League secured, intend to retain the Norwegian forward. Romano drew parallels to Roma's pursuit of Jadon Sancho last year, a transfer that repeatedly seemed imminent without materialising into substance. "For the English player it was said he was close, just a step away, there were negotiations, but in reality the actual substance was always minimal," Romano explained, suggesting the Nusa situation may follow a similar pattern of speculation without concrete momentum.
