Over 60,000 expected for Roma-Inter title clash at the Olimpico
Roma will host Inter on Saturday 19 September in a top-of-the-table Serie A match with kickoff at 18:00 at the Stadio Olimpico. The fixture is the fifth round of the season and the final game before the international break. Over 60,000 spectators are expected to fill the stadium, with the club announcing gates will open at 15:30—two and a half hours before the match begins. Both sides arrive with full points from their opening four matches, making this a high-stakes encounter on the league's opening weekend. The match has drawn significant global media attention, with over 400 accredited broadcasters, journalists and photographers expected from across Europe and beyond, including China, the Middle East, the United States, Russia, Brazil, Argentina, Poland, Switzerland, Spain, France, Germany and England. Head coach Gasperini's squad will look to harness the home crowd, described by the club as having acted as a "twelfth man" in previous home fixtures this season. Tickets remain available for purchase. The club advises supporters to arrive at least 90 minutes before kickoff to avoid congestion at turnstiles. From 15:00 until the final whistle, assistance will be available at box 4 on via Nigra. From three hours before kickoff, supporters can also contact the AS Roma Contact Center by phone (06.89386000), email or web form for any enquiries.
