Roma unveil dark grey third kit for 2026-27 with Fides symbol and rallying cry

Francesco Totti has placed Roma among the primary candidates for the Serie A title. Speaking to Rai Sport at the presentation of the capital's basketball team, the Roma legend and current advisor to Maxima Roma outlined his confidence in the club's start to the season. Totti said: "Roma and Inter are the candidates for the title, let's not say anything and wait for the rest of the championship. In 10 or 15 games we will see." He also reaffirmed his bond with the club: "I will never set Roma aside, it is my skin. We are there, we started well and I hope we can continue at these levels." On his involvement with Maxima Roma, Totti described it as a project that enthused him rather than a response to being overlooked elsewhere: "It is not a spite move, but a project that excited me. I am happy because for me sport comes before everything."

AS Roma have announced ticket sales for their home Champions League match against Real Madrid, scheduled for Tuesday 14 October at 21:00. The fixture marks the club's return to European football's elite competition after seven years away. Sales opened at 12:00 on 8 September for Serie A Plus season-ticket holders, who may purchase a maximum of two tickets per transaction and cannot resell them. General public sales begin at 12:00 on Wednesday 9 September, with each supporter able to buy up to four tickets per transaction. All tickets are issued in digital format only. Roma's Champions League campaign begins with an away trip to Fenerbahçe on Thursday, before the home debut against José Mourinho's Real Madrid. The club qualified for the league phase after finishing third in Serie A last season. Plus Coppe 2026–27 season-ticket holders will also have access to resale services from 10:00 on Friday 11 September 2026.

Roma director D'Amico will be heard by inspectors from the Federal Prosecutor's office today at Trigoria as part of an investigation into a verbal altercation with Atalanta chief executive Luca Percassi. The incident, which took place in front of multiple witnesses including stewards who had to intervene to prevent the situation from escalating further, has been referred to sports justice authorities. The stewards were already questioned yesterday, and Percassi is scheduled to be heard tomorrow.
