Roma Target Inter Winger and Tottenham Pair to Strengthen Flanks
Roma are pressing ahead with plans to bolster their wingback options this summer, with Rodrigo Mora from Porto the primary target, but their recruitment scope extends to Luis Henrique and Destiny Udogie. The club remain optimistic despite recently acquiring Nahuel Molina. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are ready to table a bid for Henrique valued at €25–30 million, which Inter will consider carefully. Should Henrique depart, Inter would need to sign two wingbacks to cover the gap, though negotiations for Moussa Diaby have stalled again. Roma are also tracking Henrique for his versatility in attacking roles, while Udogie offers left-wing specialist expertise as a fallback option. Separately, Inter have rekindled their interest in Spence, one of their early targets after missing out on Marco Palestra. Fabrizio Romano reports the deal could progress if his asking price falls below €40 million. Spence would benefit from a change of scenery and could prove valuable in Gian Piero Gasperini's system, though he was underwhelming for much of last season. His potential acquisition could spare Roma from needing another signing given his profile, whereas Spence's profile aligns with Inter's typical recruitment criteria, making it surprising they abandoned early negotiations.
