Roma season ticket renewals surge past 16,000 in first two days

Roma's Serie A fixture at Lecce on 31 August may be relocated from the home ground if ongoing restructuring works at Stadio Via del Mare, undertaken for the Mediterranean Games, prevent the venue from receiving clearance. The decision on whether the stadium can host Serie A matches will be made on 23 August, according to Teleramanews. If the Via del Mare fails the necessary verification checks, Stadio Dall'Ara in Bologna has been identified as the potential alternative venue for the match, situated over 800 kilometres from Lecce. The restructuring programme has created a complex situation for Lecce's home fixtures during this period.

AS Roma have released full details for supporters ahead of Monday's Serie A opener against Fiorentina at the Stadio Olimpico. The stadium gates will open at 18:45, with the club recommending fans arrive at least 90 minutes before kickoff to avoid queues at the turnstiles. All tickets and season passes are available exclusively in digital format via the "Il Mio Posto" app, or can be added to the Wallet function on iOS or Android smartphones. Fans using the Wallet option can enter through turnstiles using NFC technology by simply holding their phone to the reader.
