Roma lodge appeal against Torino away-day ticket restrictions

Roma has decided to lodge an appeal against a travel ban imposed on supporters residing in Rome province ahead of Monday evening's fixture against Torino. The measure, issued by the CASMS, prevents residents of Rome province from attending the match, though no such restrictions apply to fans from elsewhere in the Lazio region—those supporters must hold a valid AS Roma membership card. The club will seek a revision of the decision through the appeal process, aiming to allow Rome province residents to travel to Turin for the away match. Free ticket sales began at 10:00 this morning, with the giallorossi hoping the appeal will overturn the restriction in time for supporters to join the squad in Piedmont.

Roma defeated Atalanta 2–1 on matchday three of Serie A, with goals from Matías Soulé and Mario Hermoso securing the win in the closing stages. Following the fixture, the Lega Serie A announced disciplinary decisions from the Match Commissioner. Head coach Gian Piero Gasperini has received his first sanction.
