Roma intensify contact with Strasbourg over Diego Moreira

Roma have reportedly joined Borussia Dortmund in pursuing Strasbourg midfielder Diego Moreira, with the Giallorossi drawing up a formal offer for the Belgium international. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma are prepared to put a €30 million bid on the table and would also include a 10% sell-on clause to sweeten the agreement. Alejandro Garnacho is edging closer to leaving Chelsea after just one season, with AS Roma emerging as a concrete target for the 22-year-old Argentine. The winger, born in Madrid and a former Manchester United player, has indicated to Roma his willingness to make the move, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.
