The latest checks, however, led Roma not to accelerate his timetable, avoiding any risk to one of their most important players. Pierluigi Gollini will therefore continue in goal for the next three matches in Svilar's absence. Gollini has produced convincing performances while the first-choice keeper has been out. His most recent display, particularly positive, came against Cagliari and earned him praise from Gasperini. The club can afford to wait for Svilar's full recovery without forcing his return, which is an important reassurance for Roma.
