Government summit on Roma's new stadium set for 27 July
AS Roma's new stadium project will reach a major institutional milestone on Monday 27 July at 17:30, when senior government officials and local authorities convene at the Polifunzionale Hall of the Presidency of the Council (via Santa Maria in Via 37b) to review the administrative progress of the scheme. Vicepremier and Transport Infrastructure Minister Matteo Salvini, Sports and Youth Minister Andrea Abodi, Lazio Region President Francesco Rocca, Rome Mayor Roberto Gualtieri, and Massimo Sessa, the Government Commissioner for Euro 2032 stadiums, will attend the meeting alongside an official Roma delegation. The gathering will allow the club to engage directly with institutions on the next bureaucratic and operational phases of the project. The working session will clarify planning for construction work, the timetable for mobility infrastructure, and guarantees ahead of major international tournaments—marking a crucial moment of cooperation between the capital's club, the Government, and territorial administrations on one of the most significant institutional steps in the stadium project's journey.
