Roma and Inter agree €30m deal for winger Luis Henrique

Roma continue to pursue Torino winger Cacciamani after the club rejected an initial offer of €12 million. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, president Cairo turned down the bid, but Roma are preparing to increase their offer to move closer to Torino's €20 million valuation. Head coach Gasperini is seeking reinforcement on the left flank, with Cacciamani identified as a target to provide competition for Wesley. Alongside the Cacciamani negotiations, Roma are also considering Inter's Luis Henrique, a preference of sporting director Tony D'Amico. Inter are demanding €30 million for the winger. The club remains active in the market to strengthen the midfield flanks, with Udogie of Tottenham also on the radar as an alternative option for the left-back position.

Rodrigo Mora is set to become a Roma player, arriving in the capital at 16:30 to undergo medical examinations and sign his contract with the club. UEFA's Europa League account published a video of a 2025 Porto–Roma fixture to mark the signing, showing Mora evading the marking of Zeki Çelik and Tommaso Baldanzi, as well as Niccolò Pisilli, with Claudio Ranieri and Paulo Dybala watching from the bench. Mora entered the match in the 63rd minute of a Europa League play-off first leg that finished 1–1 at the Estádio do Dragão. Roma progressed to the last 16 with a 3–2 comeback victory in the return fixture. The timing of the video's release, coinciding with Mora's imminent arrival at the club, highlighted his previous performance against several current or former Roma players during that European tie.

Roma's transfer activity is far from over. Head coach Gian Piero Gasperini remains unsatisfied with the squad additions of Castro, Koulierakis and Molina, and the club is pursuing further reinforcements. An agreement with Malick Fofana, the 21-year-old Belgian winger from Olympique Lyonnais, remains live. Lyonnais coach Paulo Fonseca has approved the sale and the club is in talks with Roma, contingent on completion of the pending Mora deal. Fofana, who is valued at 35–40 million euros, earns approximately 2 million per year and fits Roma's salary parameters—constraints that blocked moves for Greenwood, Summerville, Leão and Martinelli. Roma are seeking a loan with an obligation conditional on certain criteria. Concerns over Fofana's fitness after a 133-day ankle injury layoff have eased, and an agreement with the player is in place. Gasperini has two or three options for most positions but only Wesley at left-back. Roma remain focused on sourcing a backup left-back, actively pursuing Tottenham's Udogie, Inter's Luis Henrique and Torino's Cacciamani. Udogie is considered the ideal profile for Gasperini given his defensive attributes and Wesley's attacking role. Luis Henrique has been adapted to play across the flank on both sides and higher up. Torino are asking substantial fees for Cacciamani, but Roma prefer a costly loan with conditional rights or obligations. Discussions with Tottenham have intensified after Udogie's availability became clearer following Spence's departure to Inter. Luis Henrique, now sidelined at Inter, is pushing for a Roma move.
