Born in Ostia, Trebiciani spent much of his career at Roma's Trigoria academy, where he became the most successful coach in the club's Primavera history. He won three Primavera titles between 1973 and 1978, and claimed back-to-back Coppa Italia Primavera victories in 1973–74 and 1974–75. Trebiciani's impact on Roma extended beyond youth development. In 1973, he stepped in to manage the first team after Helenio Herrera's departure, guiding Roma through the final six matches of the season, recording four draws and two defeats—results sufficient to secure Serie A survival on goal difference. More significantly, he was instrumental in nurturing the careers of legendary Roma players, having launched Agostino Di Bartolomei, discovered Bruno Conti, and overseen the early development of Claudio Ranieri.
