Real Madrid and PSG clashes on Prime Video; six other Champions League matches on Sky

Prime Video has selected six opening-phase matches from the 2026-27 Champions League to broadcast exclusively, with Roma featuring prominently among the Italian clubs. Roma will be shown on the Amazon platform for the visit of Real Madrid to the Olimpico on Wednesday 14 October at 21:00 and the trip to PSG on Wednesday 25 November at 21:00. All other Roma fixtures in the league phase will be broadcast on Sky. The remaining two matchdays of the league phase are scheduled for 19 and 20 January 2027, with an eighth round on 27 January, but Prime Video will select which matches to show from those dates based on how Italian clubs perform and the state of the standings. Como are expected to be prominent in at least one of those slots, given that the first six matchdays have the other Italian teams—Inter, Napoli and Roma—evenly distributed, and Como will face Barcelona and PSG in those final two rounds.

Roma's Champions League phase fixtures have been assigned to broadcasters, with Prime Video securing two of the competition's marquee ties in the giallorossi's return to Europe's elite competition. The streaming service will show the match against Real Madrid on 14 October and the fixture against Paris Saint-Germain on 25 November, both on Wednesday evenings. All other Roma matches in the league phase — against Bratislava, Manchester United, AEK, Lille, Fenerbahçe, Sporting, and Fiorentina — will be broadcast on Sky Sport channels. The two Prime Video selections represent the highest-profile encounters on Roma's European calendar this season. The first takes place on Wednesday 14 October against Real Madrid, one of the most prestigious clubs in the tournament. The second arrives just over a month later on Wednesday 25 November against PSG. Both fixtures mark significant occasions as Roma continue their campaign under head coach Gian Piero Gasperini in the Champions League.

Serie A has officially confirmed that Roma's fixture against Torino will take place on Monday 14 September at 18:30. The scheduling change follows Roma's Champions League commitment: the club will face Fenerbahce away on Thursday 10 September, meaning they will play the Serie A fourth-round match in the Monday Night slot. The Champions League calendar has reshaped the domestic schedule for this round. Elsewhere in Serie A that weekend, Lazio will host Milan at 18:00 on Saturday, Napoli will play Bologna at 18:00 on Sunday, and Juventus will face Sassuolo at 20:45 on Sunday. Como will also compete on the Monday, having faced Lipsia in the Champions League at home on Thursday.
