The group will resume work at the Fulvio Bernardini training ground on Tuesday, 29 September, with players expected to arrive at midday to restart their preparations for upcoming official commitments.

Gasperini has cancelled Roma's scheduled training session on 25 September, granting the squad four days of rest and resuming work on Tuesday 29 September around midday. The head coach had kept players at Trigoria under a demanding schedule in recent days but opted to give them a break ahead of the international break. When training resumes on the 29th, Gasperini will still be without Malen, Cristante and Wesley as they continue their recovery, with international players expected back later. The next fixture, Roma's match against Como, does not take place until 11 October, allowing time for the squad to reintegrate.

Gian Piero Gasperini met with AS Roma's business partners on 23 September, offering reflections on the club's direction and his approach to the role. Speaking about Roma's recent fixture against Inter, he said: "It was a spectacle. Thanks also to the new rules that now prevent time-wasting and favour entertainment, we are working well and I am very satisfied." "I chose this name because the 3-4-3 has been my fortune," he explained, "and I hope it brings good fortune too. With that formation I built almost all my successes."
