Massara departs as Roma overhauls backroom staff

AS Roma has opened sales for a ticket package covering three home fixtures between 17 and 27 October: Serie A matches against Genoa and Cagliari, and a UEFA Champions League group-stage match against SK Slovan Bratislava. Tickets are priced at €28 per match and sales began at 13:00 on 18 September. All three matches will be played at the Stadio Olimpico under manager Gian Piero Gasperini. The package offers a discounted rate compared to purchasing individual match tickets. Roma has stated that the package price will be lower than the sum of three single tickets, though the specific discount has not been disclosed. The club has outlined provisions for ticket holder flexibility, allowing supporters to change the registered user on their tickets either for all three matches or for a single match within the package. Roma's statement confirmed: "AS Roma communicates that from 13:00 on Friday 18 September, it will be possible to purchase the package valid for the 3 home matches against Genoa and Cagliari in Serie A and the home Champions League group-stage match against SK Slovan Bratislava. From €28 per match. Further information on user changes will be available on each match from when individual matches go on sale. User changes can be made for a single match in the package. In no case will refunds of tickets purchased with the package be possible."

Federico Ricci, a former Roma academy graduate now playing for Sorrento in Serie C, has reflected on his time with the Giallorossi in an interview with LaCasadiC, recalling his debut and his formative years at the club. Ricci spoke fondly of his Serie A debut under García, which came as an unexpected opportunity when Roma were losing at home. "The debut with Roma was a beautiful surprise altogether," he said. My relationship with Roma now is that of a supporter, someone who hopes they can win something, and for me this year they have all the credentials to fight for the league title." He recalled the ten-game winning run under García as evidence of exceptional quality. "I remember that record of ten wins under García well—it was a very strong squad," he said. "I remember that Pallotta gave each of us a Rolex to celebrate that record. That squad finished second but had an extremely high level of quality. There was a beautiful group with a very high standard and charisma. Being around them every day was a dream, and I was learning constantly." After a loan spell at Crotone where he featured prominently, Ricci returned to Roma's first-team setup, discussing a potential role with Spalletti. "I remember talking to Spalletti about it—he said he liked me and saw me as part of the group," Ricci explained. "At that moment though I would have been the fifth-choice winger, but since I wanted to play I chose to go to Sassuolo. I regret nothing—it was the most logical choice for my career at that time."

Mattia Scala, head coach of Roma's Primavera side, announced on social media that he has passed the Master course at Coverciano and obtained his UEFA Pro licence. The qualification allows him to manage in the Italian top two divisions and represents the final coaching credential required for those seeking an international profile. It follows completion of UEFA A and B licences. Scala marked the achievement with a Ligabue lyric: "It is always dreams that give shape to the world."
