Kumbulla Eyes Fresh Start Under Gasperini After Spanish Spell

Pierluigi Gollini will be Roma's goalkeeper for the coming weeks after Mile Svilar suffered a fractured toe and is ruled out for at least a month. Gollini faces an immediate test: a trip to Como tomorrow followed by a Champions League match against Real Madrid. The 29-year-old keeper will attempt to rediscover his form after several seasons as a reserve, with fans hoping he retains the quality he showed in 2019 when he played for Atalanta under Gasperini and earned his first Italy cap. Gollini joined Roma on 24 January 2025 on a permanent transfer from Atalanta after years moving between clubs.
