Friedkin hails Roma's perfect moment with league lead and stadium approval

Dan Friedkin attended the EFC assembly in Copenhagen today and spoke about Roma's current moment. "Between the stadium and first place, it's truly a great time for us," Friedkin said, reflecting the club's dual focus on league leadership and their new stadium development. The new stadium remains central to Roma's strategy. The financial plan projects net revenues of approximately 154 million euros in the first year of operation, driven primarily by hospitality and ticket sales. The stadium has also been included in the FIGC dossier submitted to UEFA for Euro 2032. Dan and Ryan Friedkin will participate in Scotland at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

Roma supporters will be allowed to attend the away fixture at Como on Sunday 11 October without travel restrictions, marking the end of a ban that has been in place since the end of the 2025-26 season. Tickets will be available to all Roma fans nationwide, subject only to holding a Roma loyalty programme membership, after an initial plan to restrict sales to those outside the Lazio region was reversed. The travel ban was imposed following clashes between Roma and Fiorentina supporters on the motorway on 18 January, the date of Roma's last unrestricted away trip — a 2–0 win at Torino. The restrictions subsequently covered the final matches of 2025-26 and extended into the current campaign, affecting fixtures at Lecce and Torino during that period.

Donyell Malen was a special guest at the Stadio Tre Fontane on 30 September 2026, attending Roma Women's debut in the UEFA Women's Champions League against Barcelona. The Roma forward arrived with his partner Delisha and took a seat in the stands. When spotted by supporters, he stopped to sign autographs and pose for photographs with fans of all ages. Roma's social media captured his arrival at the stadium. Malen's presence at the fixture had a particular purpose: to watch his partner's sister, Silver Van Hetten, who has recently signed with Roma's women's youth academy (Primavera femminile). Van Hetten will train and compete alongside the Roma Women squad.
