Fofana decision day as Roma pursues two right-footed wingers

Jan Ziolkowski is edging closer to a move to Monza on loan. According to Fabrizio Romano, negotiations between the two clubs are in an advanced stage and could be completed on the basis of a temporary deal. Roma are unwilling to sell the 2005-born midfielder permanently but want to guarantee him greater playing time and the chance to continue his development elsewhere. The loan arrangement would allow Ziolkowski to gain regular first-team experience while remaining a Roma player.

Jayden Oosterwolde's move from Fenerbahce to Roma remains unconfirmed after the Dutch defender underwent additional medical checks. Oosterwolde arrived at Ciampino airport yesterday morning before heading to Campus Bio-Medico for his initial medical examination. A further consultation is scheduled today following supplementary tests, after which the club will make its final decision on registration. Roma are reportedly considering altering the deal structure. Rather than proceeding with a loan with a right to buy that becomes an obligation, the club is now exploring the possibility of a straight loan arrangement, according to reports.
