Fenerbahçe Move Ahead of Roma in Race for Greenwood

Competition for Como winger Diao has intensified with Galatasaray entering the hunt. The Senegalese forward, a target for Roma following the collapse of their pursuit of Greenwood, is now being tracked by the Turkish club, who have tabled an opening proposal. According to Matteo Moretto, Galatasaray have submitted an offer structured as a paid loan with an obligation to buy. Roma remain in the market for a winger after missing out on Greenwood and have made their own enquiries, though Diao is not their primary target. The Giallorossi have conducted a survey on Chelsea's Garnacho, who is available for transfer. In addition to their winger search, Roma have identified Tresoldi as a potential backup option to Malen. The Diao negotiations are ongoing, but Roma's hierarchy appear to be prioritising alternative solutions to strengthen their attacking options.

The club is pushing to accelerate negotiations and find common ground in the coming days, with the priority of ensuring Pellegrini arrives at the Monday training camp with his contractual position settled and the wider environment operating without uncertainty.
