Coppa Italia: Cremonese and Monza advance; Parma and Torino eliminated

Roma's eight Champions League fixtures have been allocated across broadcasters. Prime Video will show two of the season's marquee ties: Roma-Real Madrid on 14 October at 21:00 at the Olimpico, and PSG-Roma in Paris on 25 November at 21:00. Sky Sport will carry the other six group-phase matches against Fenerbahce, Slovan Bratislava, Manchester United, Sporting CP, AEK Athens and Lille. Under head coach Gian Piero Gasperini, Roma qualified for the Champions League through a third-place finish in Serie A last season. The television schedule is now locked in ahead of the campaign's start on 8 September.

Prime Video has selected six opening-phase matches from the 2026-27 Champions League to broadcast exclusively, with Roma featuring prominently among the Italian clubs. Roma will be shown on the Amazon platform for the visit of Real Madrid to the Olimpico on Wednesday 14 October at 21:00 and the trip to PSG on Wednesday 25 November at 21:00. All other Roma fixtures in the league phase will be broadcast on Sky. The remaining two matchdays of the league phase are scheduled for 19 and 20 January 2027, with an eighth round on 27 January, but Prime Video will select which matches to show from those dates based on how Italian clubs perform and the state of the standings. Como are expected to be prominent in at least one of those slots, given that the first six matchdays have the other Italian teams—Inter, Napoli and Roma—evenly distributed, and Como will face Barcelona and PSG in those final two rounds.

Roma completed their summer transfer window on 1 September with six new signings but fell short of head coach Gian Piero Gasperini's full requirements. The club added Leonardo Balerdi, Konstantinos Koulierakis, Nahuel Molina, Marten de Roon, Rodrigo Mora and Santiago Castro, while also securing permanent moves for Daniele Ghilardi and Donyell Malen and extending contracts for Lorenzo Pellegrini and Paulo Dybala. Despite these arrivals, Gasperini's requests for a left winger and left-back went unfulfilled. Last-minute attempts to bolster the squad fell through. A move for Juventus defender Juan Cabal collapsed when the Colombian declined to join, while forward targets Florian Leweling and Jeremy Gittens also failed to materialise. Singer Damiano David reportedly became unexpectedly involved in discussions over Leweling's potential arrival. On the outgoing side, Neil El Aynaoui and Robinio Vaz departed the club, while the future of Salah-Eddine remains to be decided. Manu Koné, whose status had been uncertain, stays at Roma.
