Juventus Complete Faticanti Signing; Roma Earn Another Sell-On Bonus
Juventus have officially completed the permanent signing of midfielder Giacomo Faticanti from Lecce. The 2004-born player, who spent the last two seasons on loan at Juventus' NextGen squad, has signed a contract through June 2029. Juventus paid Lecce €1 million to activate the purchase option. Roma benefit from the deal through a 35% sell-on clause retained when Faticanti was sold to Lecce in 2023. The capital club receives €350,000 from the transaction, adding to their modest portfolio of sell-on fees this window. The club had negotiated a percentage on any future resale when letting the midfielder depart three years ago. Faticanti, a talented midfielder, has attracted interest from several Serie B clubs. His move to Juventus represents a significant step in his career following his development in the Bianconeri's youth system.
