AS Roma launches official radio coverage on Q8 Radio for Serie A and Coppa Italia

AS Roma have announced an expanded partnership with Q8, which will now broadcast exclusive live commentary of the club's Serie A and Coppa Italia matches on Q8 Radio. The coverage, starting in the 2026-27 season, will be available on DAB+ technology exclusively in the Lazio region and will include pre-match and post-match programming alongside the core match commentary. The partnership deepens Q8's involvement with the club through an editorial initiative that extends beyond the 90 minutes of play. The broadcasts will feature analysis and contributions from football personalities, alongside supporter voices and stadium atmosphere, designed to give fans a complete experience from the build-up through post-match discussion. Roma host Inter at the Stadio Olimpico this evening at 18:00 in a direct title clash before the international break, with approximately 68,000 supporters expected. Head coach Gian Piero Gasperini's side will take the field to a special Curva Sud display as the match draws significant international media attention. The Friedkin Group ownership is represented on the day: vice-president Ryan Friedkin is attending the match, underlining the American proprietor's direct involvement during the season's pivotal moments. Friedkin's presence follows Ed Shipley's arrival in Rome two days earlier. Shipley, a long-standing deputy to owner Dan Friedkin, has been at the forefront of the Group's engagement with the club's European campaign. That involvement extended to the Champions League group-phase opener nine days ago in Istanbul against Fenerbahçe, where Corbin Friedkin, the president's brother, was present in the stadium.
