AS Roma are monitoring Kerim-Sam Alajbegović, a 2007-born left-winger from RB Salzburg, as a prospect for the future. The German-Bosnian player, born in Cologne, is ambidextrous, quick, and technically gifted in one-on-one situations, and is regarded as one of the most interesting attacking prospects of his generation. His contract with Salzburg runs until 2029, but he has expressed interest in Italian football: "There are great clubs there, like Roma. I'm ready for Serie A."
Alajbegović has already accumulated regular playing time at top level despite his youth. During the decisive World Cup play-off matches, he caught international attention with a standout performance against Italy, causing problems for the Italian defence with his speed, technique, and intelligent movement between the lines. His contribution helped Bosnia-Herzegovina qualify for the World Cup at Italy's expense, further raising his profile among European clubs.
